Toasted Inktober

Here is my Inktober drawing. I had to piece together two drawings, so it’s longer than usual.

Inktober going toastHere are some close-ups. The awkward framing is because these images are made for an instagram image slider.

‘Soup’

I have some new images on my art blog chrisfraserart.com, here are a few of the black and white ones. Some are ink drawings with colour others are pure line studies.

The images below are playing with the notion of life being like a soup from the beginning of life to now, on a microcosmic and macrocosmic level.

Life often feels like a soup. A really thick soup with far too many ingredients that sometimes tastes good and sometimes tastes awful.

The Great London Jellyfish Explosion!

The Great London Jellyfish Explosion

I found this drawing unfinished a few days ago. It was just a jellyfish, a tube, a bus, a tube sign and some tentacles. Don’t ask me what the hell it is about. I started it while I was living in London and I’m not sure why I didn’t finish it. It was nice to just let go and I’m glad I managed to get some London green parrots in there!

Digital Traces

The original ink drawing is from the ‘Traces’ collaborative project with dancer and artist Liisa.
