Discover some more!

Well, it’s been lovely to be an Editor’s Pick on the discover WordPress blog. Take a look at what they had to say.

I even got a tweet! Does that mean I’m trendy?! I can’t imagine that, but anyway it’s nice to have my work noticed.

So, to celebrate this, here’s the start of another drawing!

I should squeeze an Alien in there somewhere...

‘Soup’

I have some new images on my art blog chrisfraserart.com, here are a few of the black and white ones. Some are ink drawings with colour others are pure line studies.

The images below are playing with the notion of life being like a soup from the beginning of life to now, on a microcosmic and macrocosmic level.

Life often feels like a soup. A really thick soup with far too many ingredients that sometimes tastes good and sometimes tastes awful.

I posted these doodles on the goingtoast.com cartoon blog also. I had fun doing this with no preliminary pencil sketch, just letting it fly. I’m thinking that this could turn into a series incorporating some of the characters from the blog, perhaps following one of them on a journey. Let’s see if this doesn’t turn into another always ongoing unfinished project! Colour would be great too…

I put these sketches on instagram a few months ago. I now have an account on there which I’m sometimes using to post things: instagram.com/chrisfraseronline

These are something I thought could be quite fun made as a 3D render. That’s something I’m in the process of learning, so lets see. They could still work as giant golden statues, but I might need a little funding for that!
